Koç University Search and Rescue Team

Our main aim is to provide completely voluntary support when persons are missing and accidents occur in natural environments, during natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods and in large accidents, to reach people in trouble as soon as possible, to create the most appropriate conditions for assistance, to perform the correct search and rescue work, to ensure transportation of survivors to safe conditions once they have been provided with basic first aid, and to minimize the loss of life in such events.

Voluntarism, benevolence, valuing human life, and dependability are our main values.
